This website exists to show you the villa and the region around it. You cannot book, reserve or pay here. Bookings are made on Airbnb, under Airbnb's terms.

Descriptions, photographs, floor areas and distances are given in good faith but are indicative: furnishings and finishes change, and photographs may not show the property exactly as it is on the day you arrive. Anything about rates or availability on this site is illustrative only; the Airbnb listing is the authoritative source. Nothing here is an offer capable of acceptance.

The text, photographs, guides, maps and design belong to us or to our licensors and may not be copied, republished or used commercially without our written permission. You are welcome to print or save pages for your own trip planning. Map data and typefaces remain the property of their owners and are used under their own licences.

We do our best to keep the site available and accurate but cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or withdraw any part of it. Please do not interfere with the site or use it unlawfully.

3Booking through Airbnb

The link to our Airbnb listing takes you to an independent platform we do not control. Once you leave this site, Airbnb's Terms of Service, payment terms and privacy policy apply. The rates, fees, taxes, availability, house rules and cancellation policy shown on the listing when you book are what govern your reservation; nothing on this website changes them. Payments, refunds, cancellations and damage claims are handled through Airbnb.

The accommodation itself is supplied by us, so clauses 4 to 7 below apply to your stay alongside the listing's house rules. If anything here conflicts with Airbnb's terms or the listing, Airbnb and the listing take priority.

4During your stay

The house rules on the Airbnb listing are the operative ones. In summary, and without replacing them: the guest who books is responsible for everyone in the party and any visitor they admit; occupancy may not exceed the number confirmed in the reservation; no parties, events, subletting, filming or commercial use without our written consent; no smoking indoors; pets are not permitted unless we have given written consent; please respect the neighbours and any estate rules, and keep the property secure. Tell us about breakages or faults as soon as they happen; most are minor and we would far rather know. Damage beyond fair wear and tear is dealt with through Airbnb's resolution process.

5Water, power and services

Services depend on municipal and national supply. Load-shedding, water restrictions and interruptions to internet are outside our control. An interruption of this kind is not in itself a ground for a refund, and any refund request goes through Airbnb where the booking was made there.

6Use of the property

We do not accept responsibility for loss of or damage to your belongings at the property, including in any safe or parking area, unless it results from our own negligence.

The property is protected by an armed security company, which carries out regular drive-by inspections. You will be given the security company's emergency number at check-in.

Our guides to the region, including the Stellenbosch wine routes guide and interactive map, are provided as a courtesy. The estates, restaurants and attractions described are independent businesses with no connection to us: opening hours, tasting fees and offerings change, we do not verify them continuously, we receive no commission, and we accept no responsibility for your dealings with them. Map data comes from third parties and is indicative only; check routes and access before you travel.

Wine content is intended for readers of legal drinking age. South Africa's drink-driving limits are strictly enforced. Please arrange a designated driver or a wine tour vehicle.

9Privacy, complaints and governing law

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms. Once you follow a link to Airbnb, Airbnb's privacy policy applies to what happens there. Your reservation with Airbnb is separately governed by Airbnb's terms.

Please raise any problem with us during your stay so we can fix it: message us on Airbnb or email info@mustakoira.com. Disputes, refunds and cancellations go through Airbnb's resolution process; beyond that you may approach the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud in South Africa or the consumer dispute body in your own country. Nothing here affects your right to go to court.

These terms and your stay are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of the Western Cape have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.

We may update these terms; the version published when you book applies to your stay.
